Thursday the 25th June

Today is washing and cleaning day before we leave tomorrow for Noosa. The weather here today is overcast but still warm and not very good for drying. We went for our 4 Klm walk along the beach this morning and followed it up with some retail therapy this afternoon. The weather didnt get any better during the day and Sharyn has had to use the dryer in the laundry for the washing. We bought a small slow cooker earlier in the week and we are using it to cook tea tonight. Roby gave us the idea and I will report on the meal tomorrow. If I dont report well you know something went desperately wrong. I just remembered talking to a fellow traveller late yesterday who with his wife had travelled down the coast. They had stopped at a quiet place along the way and the unfortunate lady was attacked by sandflies. She was covered in bites and looked in a real mess.
